Fire Training Center

Construction of the new Burn Building is nearing completion. We anticipate completion around the
last week of December. In addition to the Burn Building, we have relocated and upgraded our Gas
 Simulator and extended the site footprint. We will be working on the site most of the winter and
 expect to be completed in time for the March Training cycle. Blacktop of the entire site will be
 done at that time.

I would like to thank Chairman Jeff Boyle who represents the Putnam County Fire Chiefs
 Association and all of his committee people. I also thank Cris Dellaripa who was the project
 manager.  Both Jeff and Cris have put in many hours on this project.

Thanks also to the many financial contributors toward the project including most of the County
Fire Departments as well as some private sector contributors.
